About Margaret

After earning a BFA in Illustration from the University of the Arts, Margaret worked as a creative director for a small advertising agency. In 2002, she decided to pursue illustration full time.

 Since then, Margaret has worked with many fine clients in the children’s publishing industry, including The Education Center, National Geographic Educational Division, Publications International, Abingdon Press, Simon & Schuster, Glencoe, Houghton Mifflin, and McGraw-Hill.

A member of the Society of Illustrators, Margaret works in a variety of traditional and digital media.  Margaret holds an MA in Illustration from Syracuse University and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford.  Margaret lives in Ohio with her patient husband, three teenage daughters, and German shepherd dog.
